The Ghana Armed Forces Council stands in solidarity with our compatriots who lost their lives in the helicopter crash at Sikaman in the Adansi Akrofuom area.
I convened and chaired an emergency meeting today in response to the tragic event and to discuss other urgent matters related to the Armed Forces.
Following the meeting, the Council and other government officials visited the home of our late colleague, the Minister for Defence, to offer our support to his family at this very difficult time.
We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families and pray for strength, comfort, and peace during this period of national mourning.
