Manchester United Football Club have officially signed Slovenian international striker Benjamin Sesko from German side RB Leipzig.
The Red Devils completed the deal for a reported fee of 85 million Euros with the contract set to run until June 2030. He is the latest signing for Manchester United this offseason after Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha moved from Brentford and Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier in the offseason.
The 6 foot 5 inch 22 year old Sesko scored 21 goals and added six assists in 45 games in all competitions in the 2024-2025 season.
“The history of Manchester United is obviously very special but what really excites me is the future. When we discussed the project, it was clear that everything is in place for this team to continue to grow and compete for the biggest trophies again soon” Sesko said after joining the club.
Sesko is expected to improve Man United’s woeful attack that registered 44 goals in 38 league games last season. Man United finished 15th in the immediate past campaign.
