Chelsea Confirm Cole Palmer’s Improved Contract Until 2034
Chelsea have confirmed that England international Cole Palmer has signed an improved contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2034.
The new deal adds a further 12 months to his existing contract, reinforcing the club’s commitment to the attacking midfielder and Palmer’s long-term future with the Blues.
Palmer expressed his delight at signing the improved deal, insisting that he believes Chelsea are moving in the right direction and shares the club’s ambitions of winning major trophies.
“Chelsea means a lot to me and I think the club is going in the right direction, so I’m delighted to sign and I’m obviously very happy,” he said.
“Speaking to the owners, to the sporting directors and obviously the manager, they gave me a lot of confidence so it was only right to sign.
“Speaking to players as well, everyone has the same ambitions. I feel like we win major trophies here consistently and I want to be a part of that and play a big role in it too.”
Palmer’s new contract comes amid Chelsea’s efforts to secure the long-term futures of key players as the club continues to build a squad capable of competing for major honours.
Reece James, Moisés Caicedo, Pedro Neto and João Pedro have also signed new contracts in 2026, highlighting Chelsea’s focus on maintaining stability and strengthening their squad for the future.
Palmer has established himself as a key figure at Stamford Bridge, and the improved agreement signals Chelsea’s determination to retain his services as they pursue further success.
